1.The abrasion degree of grass fiber
The artificial turf field will cause abrasion of the fibers in the long-term use process. Fiber Splitting or in some worse cases, fiber falling. Especially in school playgrounds with high frequency of use, high-intensity competition and long-term use have greatly shortened the service life of artificial turf. Therefore, when you choose the artificial turf factory and product, it is better to choose products with good performance of wear resistance, which can reduce the wear consumption of fibers, avoid grass fibers falling off and prolong the service life.
2.The problem of grass fiber fading
There are several reasons for the grass fiber color fading: 1. unqualified grass fiber, such as lack of aging agent during the fiber production or a poor production process; 2. Environmental factors, such as strong UV radiation in some areas, acid rain corrosion, industrial pollution, etc.; 3. The quality of the infilling materials pollutes the fiber and causes the grass fiber to fade.
3.Corrosion at the backing of artificial turf
Artificial turf’s primary backing is made of PP material. The outdoor football field is exposed to wind, sun and rain every day, the backing will have chance to crack. What’s more, some fields have a poor foundation of drainage, long time soaking in water will accelerate the corrosion process of the backing, then also accelerate the aging of the artificial turf.
4.Joints between rolls getting loose
As we all know, artificial turf is not a complete piece of carpet, but jointed and glued by many rolls. Therefore, a professional installation team and high-quality artificial turf glue are very important. With a professional installation and high quality glue, the joints should last as long as the artificial turf field.
